Ladybug was pulled from a high kill shelter in east Tennessee. She is a senior girl who is definitely the pack leader of the six dogs we currently have. She loves her morning walk at the park, along with her walking partner Skip. Ladybug's absolute favorite part of the day is watching the horses in our neighbors pasture. SHE is very intent on mentally guarding them. Lunch time is snack time and she never misses a treat.
Ladybug is about 8-9 years old, UTD on all her vetting, chipped , spayed and looking for her forever home. She is an alpha girl, just give her time to adapt to your family. She is very frightened by thunder and lighting and we are careful to make sure she has a safe place to feel comfortable while riding out the storm. She is an inside dog , with outside time , weather permitting, She is looking for the semi -retired lifestyle. She would be fine with another dog or enjoy being the queen as well. She is currently eating science diet c/d and likes a nice soft spot to rest. Spa days are once a month and she loves to be pampered :)

Please note that as a policy ETBCR does not place puppies in families with children under 6 years of age, as border collies and border collie mixes can be very reactive to the movements of small children.
Prior to or upon adoption, all dogs in our rescue program are spayed/neutered (there are NO exceptions), fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, started on heartworm prevention, treated with flea and tick preventive, microchipped, and temperament tested. We also strive to crate and house train each dog before placement.
