Ellie

Back to Adoptables

images/ellie1_408.jpg

Ellie, about 6 months old, was pulled out of a situation in which she had almost no structure and no medical care, but this obviously smart girl has adjusted well to foster care, routines, and reliable food and water.

images/ellie2_408.jpg

Ellie has had her shots and de-worming; she'll be spayed on April 22nd. She's crate trained, and working on housetraining. She loves attention, and is very affectionate herself.

Ellie has the softest coat you'll ever touch, and her bright blue eye and deep brown eye are beautiful. She went to Agri-Feed on 4-19-08, and enjoyed the attention. She got along with the other dogs. She's shown curisoity to her two feline roommates and just wants to play with her canine roomie. She's exhibited no aggression at all.

Ellie's been in foster care for only 15 days as of 4-19-08, and is working on some very basic commands. She wants very much to please and is making progress.

Back to Adoptables

Please note that as a policy ETBCR does not place puppies in families with children under 6 years of age, as border collies and border collie mixes can be very reactive to the movements of small children.

Prior to or upon adoption, all dogs in our rescue program are spayed/neutered (there are NO exceptions), fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, started on heartworm prevention, treated with flea and tick preventive, microchipped, and temperament tested. We also strive to crate and house train each dog before placement.
